Grants and other funds for local governments, nonprofits, and businesses

The Ben and Jerry’s Foundation National Grant Program believes those most impacted by inequity and injustice are in the best position to develop solutions. The National Grassroots Organizing Program (NGO) offers two-year unrestricted, general operating support grants of up to $30,000 per year, with an average grant size of $20,000 per year, to small (budgets under $350,000), constituent-led grassroots organizations throughout the United States and its territories. Applications for 2025 are now open, and may be submitted anytime throughout the year.

Check the Database of State Incentives for Renewables & Efficiency (DSIRE) for additional incentives that may be offered by your state, local government, or utility, as well as important federal, state, and local policies.
