John Barnes, CEO of Rebuilding Broken Places Community Development Corporation (RBP) and Deacon at Greenleaf Christian Church, discusses the installation of solar at both locations in Goldsboro, NC. Watch the video.
RBP installed two solar arrays in January 2023: a 79.7 kW system producing approximately 101,825 kilowatt-hours in year 1 and a 34.9 kW system producing approximately 46,578 kWh in year 1.
Greenleaf Christian Church, formerly pastored by Bishop Rev. Dr. William Barber II, went solar in December 2023. The 68.3 kW array will produce approximately 86,853 kWh in the first year.
