What does this funding get me?
The Electrify Programs are community-based programs helping homeowners save money and become more resilient by replacing old and outdated appliances and equipment with efficient, low-carbon, electric technology and systems.
The program offers a free Home Energy Navigator service to guide homeowners through the complexities of the various technologies, services, incentives, and financing options available. Residents are then provided with a marketplace of local, vetted contractors to help choose a qualified professional to bring energy-saving projects to life.
Am I eligible?
There are currently two Electrify Programs across the state, with more to come:
- Electrify the Triad: Residents of the City of Winston-Salem, Forsyth County, and Guilford County are eligible (launching February 28, 2026).
- Electrify Asheville-Buncombe: Residents of Asheville and Buncombe County
*You must own your home
