# Get Help: Technical Assistance & Resources

These organizations may be able to help you with questions about the funding described on this website. Additional technical assistance for specific funds is listed under “Where can I get more information?” on the pages for those funds. * If you have received Federal funding and it has been terminated or you are concerned about termination, we highly recommend contacting [the **Environmental Protection Network**](https://www.environmentalprotectionnetwork.org/ffog-may-6-2025/) for assistance.
* **The Local Infrastructure Hub (LIH) of the Southeast Sustainability Directors Network** has resources to support local governments and community-based organizations working on cross-cutting projects at the intersection of addressing climate impacts and promoting racial wealth equity. * **Central Pines Regional Council** supports county governments, local governments, and nonprofits across Moore, Lee, Chatham, Orange, Durham, Wake, and Johnston Counties in North Carolina. Contact [Langston Alexander](mailto:lalexander@centralpinesnc.gov). If you are not in those counties, check to see if your local Council of Governments offers similar help ([find it on the map here](https://ncarcog.org/regional-councils/)).
* **The NC Clean Energy Technology Center** provides technical assistance services related to clean transportation technologies. [Click here for more information](https://nccleantech.ncsu.edu/our-work/clean-transportation/#section-3).
* **Lawyers for Good Government** (L4GG) provides a [Clean Energy Tax Navigator](https://cleanenergytaxnavigator.org/) to help tax-exempt entities access direct pay tax credits. L4GG also offers _pro bono_ assistance to underresourced organizations that need more help after using the navigator.
* **South Carolina Electric Transportation Network** (SCET Network) is a statewide forum for collaboration among businesses, nonprofit organizations, academic institutions, public agencies, and other entities involved in or supportive of the equitable advancement of transportation electrification in South Carolina. For questions about South Carolina’s electric transportation initiatives and incentives, contact [Evan Renshaw](mailto:evan@cvsc.org) with the SCET Network.
* _**Note regarding technical assistance formerly available from the Environmental Justice Thriving Communities Technical Assistance Centers (EJ TCTACs):** **As of May 7, 2025, the Cultivating Healthy Environments Program ([EJ Thriving Communities Grantmaking Program](https://energyfundsforall.org/environmental-justice-thriving-communities-grantmaking-program/)) has been terminated** **due to shifts in priorities by the Federal administration. This decision affects grantmaking**_ **_efforts in EPA Region 4 and across the National Central Region (Regions 4-7)._** _**We understand that this has caused a stoppage of work by the TCTACs as well. You may contact the TCTACs listed below but you may not receive assistance**_ _._  
In Region 4 (including NC and SC), the EPA awarded funds to two organizations to provide technical assistance under the TCTAC program to residents, community organizations, and Federally-recognized Tribes, assisting in developing capabilities and identifying resources for understanding or resolving EJ issues. To find the TCTACs for other EPA regions, check the [EPA’s TCTAC page](https://web.archive.org/web/20260407015002/https://www.epa.gov/inflation-reduction-act/thriving-communities-technical-assistance-centers-program). The two Region 4 TCTACs were:  
   * The **[Resource for Assistance and Community Training in Region 4 on Environmental Justice](https://www.react4ej.org/)** (REACT4EJ) at RTI International.  
   * The **[Community Investment Recovery Center](https://dscej.org/circ/)** (CIRC) at the Deep South Center for Environmental Justice.

* The [Climate Program Portal](https://climateprogramportal.org/) from **Atlas Public Policy** breaks down IRA investment outcomes by state, sector, and program. It also lists open funding opportunities.
